Scoring Evaluation
Before an Issuer can prepare and offer bonds on the primary market, they must undergo a formal financial scoring evaluation. This score determines the company's financial health, assigns a risk grade, and establishes a baseline for future bond parameters (such as the coupon rate offered to investors).
The user navigates to the "Scoring" tab within their verified company profile to initiate this process.

The platform requires the user to upload supporting documentation, such as a comprehensive business plan and up-to-date financial statements. The user selects their documents (e.g., scoring_request.pdf) and clicks "Request scoring".

A confirmation modal appears to ensure the user understands that once submitted, the documents are locked for review and no additional files can be added to this specific request.

Upon submission, the scoring status transitions to "Pending". The user must now wait for the backoffice risk management team to review the application and assign a grade.

Backoffice Risk Assessment
A designated DEUSS Risk Manager or Administrator logs into the internal Approval Portal. The dashboard alerts them to the pending scoring request. They navigate to the SME's Scoring tab, where they can review the uploaded documentation and input their assessment.

Based on their financial analysis, the administrator inputs the calculated Probability of Default (e.g., 1.00%). The system automatically maps this percentage to a standardized grade (in this case, an "A" grade, indicating a very low probability of default). The administrator also sets the expiration date for the score (typically valid for one year) and saves the evaluation.

Scoring Completed
Returning to the client's Whitelabel Broker Portal, the evaluation is instantly visible. The Current Scoring status updates to "Issued", proudly displaying the Grade "A".

With a verified company profile, an active blockchain wallet, and a valid scoring grade, the SME is now fully prepared to structure and issue bonds on the platform.
